BODYWORK CONTINUES...ALIGNING THE BONNET

Fitting the body panels on the Triumph has required numerous hours.  The awkward fit is mostly due to several minor collisions that have taken place over the years.  However, Triumph cars in general were born with these issues.  We are realigning and adjusting each panel in an attempt to improve the fit.

In the photo above you will notice the exaggerated gap between the bonnet and the fender.  Much of this is the result of minor damage to the edge of the bonnet.  Our body repair experts, Paxton and Carl are realigning the damaged area.

The preliminary cuts and welds have been made and the bonnet and fender are now in alignment.
Very little filler will be required.
