BODYWORK CONTINUES...REPAIRING FRONT FENDERS

Some minor rust and collision damage was discovered in the front fenders.  I suppose one would expect that at some point.  After all, this TR3 is 56 years old.  Shown in the photo to the right is the section of the right front fender that was removed.  The rust and collision damage had been repaired with layers of fiberglass and new metal.

A new patch panel was fabricated and fastened in place.

After the repairs were completed, the inside of the fender was coated with a rubberized undercoating.  The fenders are now ready for a "trial" reassembly.
