The single most impressive aspect of any restoration is the attention given to the engine compartment. When you raise the bonnet and a pristine engine bay is revealed, you know immediately that a great deal of time and money has been invested. It is the area that benefits the most from the attention given to detail.
In the photo to the right, you will notice that all the wiring and hydraulics have been removed from the engine bay.
As shown in the photo to the left, all the peripheral equipment has been removed from the engine.
The next step is to clean the motor and engine bay. This will be done with a good liquid degreaser and a pressure washer.
