CLEANING THE ENGINE COMPARTMENT

It has probably been 56 years since the "Shuttle" has been cleaned under the bonnet, or at least it appears so.

We placed the TR on jack stands and removed the front wheels exposing the front suspension.  Pictured to the left is Jeremy pressure washing the engine compartment and suspension.

The result is a much cleaner work area.  The bodywork on the inner fenders will now begin.
The inner fenders and firewall will be painted gloss black to match the car's exterior.

After the necessary repairs are made to the suspension and steering, these parts will be sprayed with rubberized undercoating.
The rubber brake line hoses, pictured to the right, will be replaced.

Stay tuned...
