ENGINE STARTUP


Now that the engine related wiring has been connected and the fuel delivery and cooling systems checked for leaks, we are almost ready to begin the startup procedure.  













We filled the crankcase with a good grade of motor oil containing a zinc additive and preset the carburetors and ignition timing.  Now it's time to push the button.  
It took a few minutes to adjust the timing and carburetors after the engine started but now it runs smoothly.














Now to assemble the front end...
